Natural Soaps by Suds On the Scent

There is nothing like being able to combine luxury and practicality in a regular daily activity that protects yourself and all those around you. Imagine just how terrific it is, then, to add the most wonderfully unique scents and handcrafted quality to that rich lather that comes from skin-loving natural plant oils!

Each of our soaps are handcrafted in small batches, and formulated specifically to be a wonderfully moisturizing soap from a combination of coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, shea butter, aloe butter, lye, and rose hip oil.  They will gently cleanse while lifting the senses with scents blended from botanicals and essential oils added to those bases that gently exfoliate and lather while simultaneously are uniquely created within our own workshops to truly give you that scent experience that brings your own imagination and memories to life. Daily Blends

*Summer Meadow- Feel the warmth of a summer meadow with the caress of flower petals playing over your skin as you lather up one of these bars and enjoy the summer memories. (With lemongrass & lemon essential oils, and dried calendula petals on the base blend of oils.)
*Lavender Petals- Come enjoy the wisdom of ages with the beauty of today in a sweet lavender soap. (With lavender essential oils and dried lavender buds on the base blend of oils.)
*Midnight Forest-This is a scent that whispers of moonlight between forest trees and a warm breeze along the path, held in the soapy layers with finely ground cinnamon and herbs that provide a gentle, lovely exfoliation. (With finely ground cinnamon bark & mint leaves, and siberian fir, balsam, sage, juniper berry, cedarwood, amarys, and basil essential oils.)
*Chocolate Bread- A heavenly rich favorite with all the cleansing power of a bubbly soap and the comforts of grandma's kitchen. (With added cocoa butters and finely ground cacao with the base blend of oils.)
*Mint Mist- A soap that will leave a morning mist's kiss on your skin that leaves you wondering if you found the end of the rainbow. (With peppermint, tea tree, & eucalyptus essential oils, and finely ground dried mint on the base blend of oils.)
*Ginger Tea- There's nothing like the kiss of orange that comes with an exotic oriental ginger tea. With finely ground ginger root, orange zest, and lemon, orange, & ginger essential oils on the base blend of oils.)
*Citrus Mint Strata- Layers of citrus and mint that look like layered rock strata and feel like you're using all the power of those formations to bless your skin. (With orange, lemon, spearmint, & peppermint essential oils, and lemon & and orange zests.)

Shower Melts by Suds On the Scent

For all those of us who love the indulgent aromatherapy of a bath bomb wafting through the mists of a hot bath, but just don't have the time for soaking in a bath (or just want to be able to enjoy those wonderful smells more frequently than a bath bomb allows) we have an incredible product for you. Made on a base of shea butter, water, and baking soda, these Shower Melts are squares of power. To use them, you simply unwrap and place them on the floor at the back of your tub or shower stall. As the hot water comes down to splash and pool under your feet it will melt the shower melt, slowly releasing all of the scents that you love into the mists as they are also carried by the melted shea butter to moisturize your feet even as the baking soda naturally cleanses. To have your own favorite sent to you or a spoiled other, choose which size packages and scents you'd like and fill out the order form then prepare for the blend of botanical infusions and essential oils to come and make scent the experience you enjoy most.

Enter our unique blend of citrus essential oils that will transport you right to a scene filled with citrus fruit and morning mists! (With blood orange, lemon, orange, grapefruit, & bergamot essential oils and vanilla extract on the base blend of shea butter, baking soda, and water.)
*Sweet Dreams- By mixing age old traditions, we offer you a blend of lavender and vanilla to help you relax into the dreamy mists sent by the Sandman. (With vanilla oleoresin & lavender essential oils and lavender buds on the base blend of shea butter, baking soda, and water.)

Bath Bombs by Suds On the Scent

One of the things that makes our bath bombs a shopping experience that you tailor just for yourself: we offer 3 different kinds of bath bomb bases to choose from to fit your own needs and make things easier to choose from based upon your own needs and desires. To claim your own special, choose which of the following you'd like of either a 9 oz or 3.5 oz size bath bomb and fill out the order form...then prepare for a blend of botanicals and essential oils that you'll only find from the Handcrafter's Lair. Once they come home to you, you simply draw your bath and relax back as you drop your bath bomb in to dance and fizz along your skin.

Sugar Bombs

A Sugar based bath bomb is a delightful experience which deeply exfoliates and softens the skin, loosening grime and lifting those dead skin cells while offering a deep detoxification without any rubbing or scratching at all...and which smells absolutely terrific as it naturally bubbles and fizzes! (All of the sugar based bath bombs are on the same blend of ingredients being: baking soda, citric acid, sugar, and cornstarch with the specific additions listed with the individual descriptions.)

* Mint Forest- Renew and refresh your sense with a walk down a mint laden forest path. (With peppermint, spearmint, lemon, and siberian fir essential oils and dried peppermint in addition to the base recipe)

Epsom Salt Bombs

With our Epsom Salt based bath bombs, you'll find a unique formulation which specifically is created to give all those wonderful bath bomb benefits but which works both with hot or even ice cold water...just for all those of you who are needing those cold baths after running a marathon or convincing your muscles you've done so. They are also an amazing way to utilize those magnesium soaking benefits, just like those epsom salt soaks that grandma always recommended but smelling sooo much better! (All of the epsom salt based bath bombs are on the same blend of ingredients being: baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and epsom salt with the specific additions listed with the individual descriptions.)

*Perfect Gentleman- A scent blend that makes you think Mr. Darcy just walked into the room. (With juniper berry, cedarwood, basil, bergamot, and spearmint essential oils and freshly ground nutmeg)

*Marathon Recovery- An Eastern traditional blend, used down the ages, to ease sore limbs and bring a bounce back to your step while refreshing your mind. (With lemongrass, rosemary, eucalyptus, and orange essential oils and dried rosemary leaves infused)

Milk Bombs

A far more deliciously luxurious touch, our Milk based bath bombs combine all the sparkling effervescence of a terrific bath bomb with the benefits of an indulgent milk bath used down the ages. So not only do you get those cleansing properties we talked about before, but you are also getting the nourishing moisturizing benefits of the creamy milk which all combine to leave your senses sighing in satisfied delight! (All of the milk based bath bombs are on the same blend of ingredients, being: baking soda, citric acid, sucrose,) 

*Chocolate Truffle- Take yourself from just sipping at that rich mug of chocolate to immersing all of your senses in the amazing benefits of a true chocolate with roasted cacao, vanilla, and milk. 

*Rose Garden- Close your eyes and breathe in the experience of a rose garden with the spice of green, fresh water mist, and a soft floral caress all through the same natural sources as you find in your garden. While all of our regular bombs are luxuriously wonderful and special, there are some things that call for some spectacularly unique and magical blends that sing to the fantastic and call to the ages. While we won't pretend to have the bards tongue or Merlin's gifts, we have truly enjoyed being able to create blends from the special and fantastic that they (and theirs) have gifted to us all. 

*Headmaster's Office- The scent that speaks of a visit to a beloved mentor, teacher, or headmaster fun enough to offer, "Would you like a lemon drop?" (On a sugar bomb base with siberian fir, lemon, orange, white grapefruit, amarys, balsam, and lime essential oils and dried lemon zest)

*Basilisk's Bane- Welcome to the smell of protective herbs that fill a wizard's den and call the powers of the universe to answer your desires. (On an epsom salt bomb base with dried basil, and rosemary, sage, basil, black pepper, and cedarwood essential oils.)

*Unicorn Farts- Imagine a unicorn who loves bubblegum and sharing the joy giggling and chanting "sparkly in, sparkling out." (On a sugar bomb base with organic candy floss, peppermint, blood orange, and anise essential oils.)

Out of Season/Out of Stock

Every season brings change and anticipated treats, botanicals and oils that are only available on a temporary basis, and holidays that carry their own special delights. When the season is over, we like to be able to hold onto our favorites for the next time things come out (and when possible we will also fill custom requests out of season, as is called for) plus this way you can let us know your favorites to bring back.
