Bath Bombs by Suds On the Scent

One of the things that makes our bath bombs a shopping experience that you tailor just for yourself: we offer 3 different kinds of bath bomb bases to choose from to fit your own needs and make things easier to choose from based upon your own needs and desires. To claim your own special, choose which of the following you'd like of either a 9 oz or 3.5 oz size bath bomb and fill out the order form...then prepare for a blend of botanicals and essential oils that you'll only find from the Handcrafter's Lair. Once they come home to you, you simply draw your bath and relax back as you drop your bath bomb in to dance and fizz along your skin.

Sugar Bombs

A Sugar based bath bomb is a delightful experience which deeply exfoliates and softens the skin, loosening grime and lifting those dead skin cells while offering a deep detoxification without any rubbing or scratching at all...and which smells absolutely terrific as it naturally bubbles and fizzes! (All of the sugar based bath bombs are on the same blend of ingredients being: baking soda, citric acid, sugar, and cornstarch with the specific additions listed with the individual descriptions.)

* Mint Forest- Renew and refresh your sense with a walk down a mint laden forest path. (With peppermint, spearmint, lemon, and siberian fir essential oils and dried peppermint in addition to the base recipe)

*Oxford Library- Especially for all you bibliophiles out there, we offer you the scent that whipsers of sunshine, wood, and books! (With lemon, siberian fir, grapefruit, balsam, and amarys essential oils and dried calendula petals in addition to the base recipe)

Epsom Salt Bombs

With our Epsom Salt based bath bombs, you'll find a unique formulation which specifically is created to give all those wonderful bath bomb benefits but which works both with hot or even ice cold water...just for all those of you who are needing those cold baths after running a marathon or convincing your muscles you've done so. They are also an amazing way to utilize those magnesium soaking benefits, just like those epsom salt soaks that grandma always recommended but smelling sooo much better! (All of the epsom salt based bath bombs are on the same blend of ingredients being: baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and epsom salt with the specific additions listed with the individual descriptions.)

*Perfect Gentleman- A scent blend that makes you think Mr. Darcy just walked into the room. (With juniper berry, cedarwood, basil, bergamot, and spearmint essential oils and freshly ground nutmeg)

*Marathon Recovery- An Eastern traditional blend, used down the ages, to ease sore limbs and bring a bounce back to your step while refreshing your mind. (With lemongrass, rosemary, eucalyptus, and orange essential oils and dried rosemary leaves infused)

Milk Bombs

A far more deliciously luxurious touch, our Milk based bath bombs combine all the sparkling effervescence of a terrific bath bomb with the benefits of an indulgent milk bath used down the ages. So not only do you get those cleansing properties we talked about before, but you are also getting the nourishing moisturizing benefits of the creamy milk which all combine to leave your senses sighing in satisfied delight! (All of the milk based bath bombs are on the same blend of ingredients, being: baking soda, citric acid, sucrose,) 

*Chocolate Truffle- Take yourself from just sipping at that rich mug of chocolate to immersing all of your senses in the amazing benefits of a true chocolate with roasted cacao, vanilla, and milk. 

*Rose Garden- Close your eyes and breathe in the experience of a rose garden with the spice of green, fresh water mist, and a soft floral caress all through the same natural sources as you find in your garden. (With rose hip oil; dried rose petals, chamomile, and calendula petals; rose otto, black pepper, balsam, clove leaf, and basil essential oils.)

Fantasy/Sci-Fi and Convention Specials

While all of our regular bombs are luxuriously wonderful and special, there are some things that call for some spectacularly unique and magical blends that sing to the fantastic and call to the ages. While we won't pretend to have the bards tongue or Merlin's gifts, we have truly enjoyed being able to create blends from the special and fantastic that they (and theirs) have gifted to us all. 

*Headmaster's Office- The scent that speaks of a visit to a beloved mentor, teacher, or headmaster fun enough to offer, "Would you like a lemon drop?" (On a sugar bomb base with siberian fir, lemon, orange, white grapefruit, amarys, balsam, and lime essential oils and dried lemon zest)

*Basilisk's Bane- Welcome to the smell of protective herbs that fill a wizard's den and call the powers of the universe to answer your desires. (On an epsom salt bomb base with dried basil, and rosemary, sage, basil, black pepper, and cedarwood essential oils.)

*Unicorn Farts- Imagine a unicorn who loves bubblegum and sharing the joy giggling and chanting "sparkly in, sparkling out." (On a sugar bomb base with organic candy floss, peppermint, blood orange, and anise essential oils.)

Out of Season/Out of Stock

Every season brings change and anticipated treats, botanicals and oils that are only available on a temporary basis, and holidays that carry their own special delights. When the season is over, we like to be able to hold onto our favorites for the next time things come out (and when possible we will also fill custom requests out of season, as is called for) plus this way you can let us know your favorites to bring back.
